MEET THE STYLISTS - LESLIE

Making the Decision

My backing inspiration for entering this field is the fulfillment that comes with making a clients day. That fulfillment comes everyday for me at Impulse Salon. In the past I have worked in skincare and cosmetics but I wanted something more creative. So in June of 2008 I decided to move into a new industry, that’s when I found Impulse Salon.

Education and Training

Under the guidance of Karla Kennedy and Crystal Cain, I began my apprenticeship, and instantly fell in love with the thought of becoming a cosmetologist.

By winter 2009 my apprenticeship will be completed, and I will be moving towards becoming an established and successful hairstylist. My pursuit of a photo journalism major, and my love of art, jewelry design and nature inspire me in this field.

Philosophy

Ultimately for me my career represents a dedication to lifelong relationships and being able to do what I was made for.
