 A hair dresser was born
I have been in the industry for 6 years and WOW the time has flown by! This industry is truly fast paced and ever changing and I love every minute of it. I began my journey at The Aveda Institute of Chicago. I completed an 11 month cosmetology program with flying colors. Right after I graduated from the program I moved down to Southern Florida where I apprenticed under one of the most widely known colorist.
Education and Training
I chose to specialize in color because I really felt I could let my creative side shine bright. I excelled in the salon very quickly and before I knew it I was in high demand, which just made my passion grow and grow.
I have been involved in many advanced training programs and classes. I also was the color educator with my salon. I always felt teaching others was the best way to learn. The minute you think you know it all, you know nothing at all!
I am constantly sharpening my skills by advanced classes, learning from my fellow stylists and attending hair shows.
Home Sweet Home
I stumbled across Impulse-A-Salon when I moved to Atlanta. I fell in love the minute I walked in the door. Impulse welcomed me with open arms and I hugged tightly back. Impulse is a wonderful environment and they are continuously pumping me with higher education. I have made the decision to embark on the journey of cutting hair.
Surrounded by some of the best hair dressers Atlanta has to offer, my training on cutting has been stellar. My long term goal is to be the most well rounded stylist I can be. The fact that I will never know it all in this ever changing line of work is what keeps me excited about what I do. I feel very proud of what I have accomplished thus far in my career and only look forward to what the future brings me!
