 Born With It
When people ask how long I’ve been in the industry, I feel inclined to say my entire life. I can remember as a child watching Sesame Street and being so fascinated with miss piggy’s long, blonde curls. Then it soon turned into changing the hair styles of my barbies. As I got older the interest in hair became stronger and the desire to create hair became an obsession.
Education and Training
Soon, I found myself working as an assistant for Impulse Salon; needless to say I was in love for the very first time in my life. I soon got the opportunity to move to Denver, Colorado. As faith would have it, I was accepted into Antoine Du chez private hair academy. It was there that I received advance training from the Bispoke collection. I was fortunate enough to train under one of the industry’s leading ladies and have her help me perfect my skills and take my passion to a new level.
Found My Home
As time went on I found myself home sick. I then decided to pack my bags and move back to Georgia. I came back to a salon waiting with open arms. Impulse offered me a job as a lead stylist. Alongside my fellow co-workers the education continued, Impulse offered everything from re-creating hi-fashion looks from Paris down to everyday wearable styles.
Philosophy
This industry is ever changing and the sky truly is the limit! Each client that sits in my chair is a gift in and of itself. For that I am grateful every day I come to work. The passion I have is undeniable and grows stronger by the day! I look forward to sharing this desire with everyone I meet!
